A green fountain pen ink with a subtle olive. This ink is a dye-based ink developed to resemble traditional Japanese calligraphy ink, called “sumi.” Though standard pigmented sumi is not suited for use with fountain pens, we wondered if we couldn’t translate the qualities of this traditional ink into a dye-based fountain pen ink. This is why we chose to partner with KURETAKE, Ltd. who specialize in sumi production. The added flowery aroma makes each stroke of the pen a delight of both sight and smell.
